TypesetOS is a live document-formatting tool for theses, dissertations, and research papers. It was built after repeatedly dealing with long Word documents where fixing one thing could break another—page numbering, headings, margins, TOCs, spacing, and section formatting. Users upload an existing document, choose the required formatting standard, and TypesetOS automatically reformats it. You can preview the result before paying, so you can judge whether it actually fixed the document first.

The clearest thing is the risk-reversal: "preview first, pay only if you want the downloadable DOCX." Good positioning against generic template tools, it works from the draft you already wrote instead of forcing a new template. Real pain point: reformatting a finished thesis to a rigid university standard without breaking citations, tables, or protected fields. The copy nails the trust concern directly: "protected Word content is handled cautiously," "your original stays separate."
The biggest problem
Only 19 standards across 6 institutions. The headline promise ("your thesis, formatted") only holds if your specific university is covered, and there's no visible list of which schools before you upload, just a "request it" form with no timeline.
Top suggestion
Show the full list of the 19 covered standards right on the homepage, above the fold. A student checks that in 5 seconds instead of uploading to find out.
